I grabbed a few bags of groceries from here. There are a variety of fresh fruit when you walk in as well as a seating area to the right to eat from their cafe, pizzeria, and misc hot food. They had most of what I needed. The layout of the store works well as customers moved around with ease. It’s a nice, clean, and well organized store.
This co-op would make my top ten list it wasn't for all the brain dead wokies wearing masks.
Great selection of food from the salad and hot bar, quality brewed coffee, huge selection of bulk food, some good deals all around, and a nice sitting area with a water station.
I always feel just a bit pretentious when I'm at this PCC. That feeling isn't the fault of PCC, it's likely because it is in Issaquah after all. ; ) I can say that ... I live in the Highlands.
The staff are very friendly, helpful and kind and this is something you should expect. When comparing prices to their competition in the area, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods via Amazon Prime Now 2 hour grocery delivery and Safeway, PCC loses in every way. PCC however wins on variety against the LOCAL brick and mortar stores. The variety I'm speaking of is for organic, vegetarian, or vegan. For example, if you want strawberries, PCC will be $6.99 for a pack, Safeway 3.99, Trader Joe's $3.99 or $2.99. However if you want Vegetarian or Vegan Lasagna, PCC will have several, whereas Safeway or Trader Joe's will have 1 to 2 options.
For me price wins Every time before variety and PCC prices are simply to high when the same times are cheaper within a 5 minute drive.
PCC goes above and beyond procuring the highest quality, locally produced foods and goods. The deli, bakery and coffee bar always exceed expectations. I am thankful to be able to pick up nutritious meals from the deli department in particular and in return support many who were involved with creating exceptional products.
It seems like PCC may have issues finding or keeping staff after the pandemic which is concerning since I love this store and don’t want to see anything happen to it. Maybe the answer is supporting PCC even more than I currently do and being intentional about treating employees kindly? Who knows.
Anyway, this is a great spot for a meal, a coffee or grocery shopping .
Love going for the Deli and great food options there! The cashiers are always friendly and helpful here.
Ordered a custom birthday cake and PCC did not disappoint! I recently became vegan and I wanted my birthday cake to be vegan. My husband ordered the cake for me and it was delicious 😋 Not too sweet and the cake was moist. Love the raspberry jam filling. My husband said that if he didn't order it, he wouldn't have known that it's vegan. …
The people are friendly the place is clean. It's mostly organic and the food that you can't buy at the other store they have it here like the Coconut whip cream. It's $1 more from Safeway for some stuff just saying.
Best, most-fresh organic produce in all of Seattle and our favorite grocery by far. Also has a terrific deli and bulk dry foods section
